High Efficient Double Screw Floating Fish Feed Extruder


The High efficient floating fish feed extruder is widely used to produce high-grade aquatic feed pellets for fish, catfish, shrimps, crab and pet etc. The puffing degree can be adjusted to make floating fish feed and slow sinking feed as different feed formula. The puffed fish feed pellets can float on water surface without dissolution for 3-15 hours as different request. The extruder also adopt dry type and wet type puffing. 2. Double Feed Extruder Main Feature

2.1 According to different requirements, variety shapes of high-grade feed pellets .can be produced for fish, shrimps, pet etc.

2.2 The finished pellets can keep floating for 3-15 hours without pollution to water. The floating time can be controlled by the puffing degree adjustment.

2.3 Floating fish feed machine can make pellet from diameter 1.0mm-10mm just by changing the mold die.

2.4 continuous and automatic. Electric heating device is adopted which can improve the feed expansion rate and pellets floating time.

2.5 High quality Stainless steel part(Food Grade), strong structure, and world famous part. Such as Siemens Motor, Schneider/LS Electrical components.

3. Double Screw Feed Extruder Structure and Main Part

3.1  Feed Extruder Structure

3.3 Screw feeder

Conveying the raw materials from storage silo into conditioner. Using single screw conveyor. The speed of screw is controlled by the transducer. Feeding amount can be controlled accurately. It runs smoothly and exact quantitative.

Screw Feeder is the middle device that connects Storage Silo with DDC Conditioner.

Screw Feeder is consist of feed spout, screw and motor.

3.4 Conditioner

1) In Conditioner, the component parts contacting material are made of stainless steel with very durable.

2) There are some steam vents and liquid ingredients ports on the Conditioner. Materials can be fully modulation. Every entrance can be closed independently by ball valves, to control the quantity of steam.

3) The conditioner device adopts the way of biaxial differential modulation and Gear assembly. Not only the feed modulation is more ideal, but also the equipment is more compact with high driving efficiency.

4) The conditioner device can be used by frequency conversion control. To adjust the material residence time in the conditioner and then satisfy the different modulationt requirements.

5) The conditioner device adopts the large open the door, quick pull handle fixed structure. Convenient for operation and maintenance.

6) The angle of mixing wings can be adjusted, to ensure materials modulation sufficiently and improve water resistance of aquatic product.Conditioner has advanced the biaxial differential modulator, to increase material temperature, soft the material snd reduce friction of metrial. Thus, it will reduce extrusion pressure, energy consumption and die loss to raise production. Stability of elevetor operation also can extend service life of extrusion machine parts.

3.5 Double-screw Feeder

Double-screw Feeder is conneted Conditioner with Double-screw Extruder. Conveying raw materials from conditioner into the feed port of extruder . Double- screw Feeder adopts inverse rotation structure, the feeder is controlled by inverterensures raw materials feed into extrusion chamber evenly, easy to operate and maintain. It has widely used in different moisture content of raw materials . Feeder motor uses transducer to adjust feed quantity. Adjustment will be greater, easy operate, easy maintenance.

Double-screw Feeder is consisting of feeder motor, hopper, double screw and chute feeder.

3.6 Double Screw Extruder

(a) Extruding system

the main part of the double scew extruding system are screws and barrel.

Both screws are dextral.They intermesh each other and co-rotate.

The barrel with the double screw is one of the most important parts of extrusion system. Designed as the professional extrusion cavity, barrel to make the double screw inside complete boosting pressure, mixing, curing, conveying materials flour process. Finally, the materials through the moulds and cutting system to be the finished products.

(b) Transmission system

Power starts from the main motor and is transmitted into two screws of same rotating direction. Gear is external engaged. The gears bears the torque and radial thrust of the screw respectively.

(c)Rotary cutting system

The rotary cutting system consists of rotary knife, knife holder, synchronous belt pulley, knife support and motor.

This system uses central axis rotary cutting. Dovetail groove adjustment is steady and accurate.

Transmission part use synchronous pulley and belt transmission .Rotary cutting motor adopts frequency converter speed controlling. It can adjust the rotary cutting knife speed according to the pellet size. The control of the products shape is simple. The rotary cutting system runs steady and the operation is simple.The using effect is very ideal.

(d) Heating System

Heating part consists of heating cirecles, temperature thermocouple, and intelligent temperature-controlling meter. Rapid Heating and accurate temperature measurement. Intelligent temperature meter controls the temperature according to the production process. Temperature control range is wide and temperature difference is small, operation is simple. The heating part function is to provide the heat and temperature for the raw material in the production .The heating area includes three parts. In each area, the temperature can be controlled independently.

(e)Lubrication Systems

The lubricate system consists of oil tank, oil filter, gear oil pump, oil pump motor, high pressure oil pipe, oil pressure gauge. Oil lubricating oil grade: 15 w – 40. The oil filter is to filter the impurities in the lubricating oil to ensure the oil clean. Gear pump is driven by the oil pump motor. Oil is injected into the gear reducer through high-pressure oil pipe .It make the force cooling and lubricate the parts inside the gearbox to ensure the gear reducer work well. Oil pressure gauge provides work information of lubrication system to prevent lack of oil and guarantee the equipment runs well.

3.6 Control System

The control system consists of electric control box, temperature controller, buttons and rotary buttons, breaker, relays and other electric parts. It controls whole equipment’s operation by data cable transmits the signals. Equipped with various automatic self-protection procedures and real-time status indicators, the control system can centrally control all the system of double screw extruder units. Furthermore, it designed as easy operation, reliable controlling, higher level security, strong anti-interference capacity.
